  1. 1 Claude Code: Turn Your Idea Into a Working App You are here
  2. 2 Claude Code: Put Your Product Online
  3. 3 Claude Code: Launch to Your First Users

Course overview

Take your idea and narrow it to one core feature worth shipping. Then direct Claude Code to build it, test it, and fix it with you, step by step. Runs across two live sessions because this is the hardest step in the pathway and one evening is not enough.

What you'll learn

  • Narrow your idea to a single core feature you can finish
  • Direct Claude Code to build that feature step by step
  • Test your own app and describe what is wrong in plain words
  • Finish with your product's core feature working on your machine

Curriculum

8 lessons · 3h 40m total
1 From Idea to One Feature 20 min
Narrow whatever you have in mind down to the single feature worth building first, and learn why that is the decision the rest of the course depends on.
2 Writing Your Product Brief 25 min
Write the short plain English brief that tells Claude Code what you are building, who it is for, and what it must never do.
3 Lab: Direct Your First Build 40 min
Direct Claude Code to build your core feature, one step at a time, and end the lesson with something that runs.
4 Reading What Claude Built 25 min
Understand what you now own without learning to code: what the files are, what changed, and how to tell whether it did what you asked.
5 Lab: Test Your Own App 30 min
Try to break your own product on purpose, and learn the short list of things worth checking every time.
6 When It Breaks: Saying What Is Wrong 30 min
The skill that replaces debugging. Describe a fault clearly enough that Claude Code can find and fix it without you knowing why it happened.
7 Lab: Change Something Without Fear 30 min
Make a real change to your working product and learn how to get back if it goes wrong, so you stop being afraid to touch it.
8 Knowing Where to Stop 20 min
Decide what is finished enough to show people, and what belongs on a list for later rather than in your first version.
